GOODBYE 2NE1

Eventually, it all comes to an end…

Like most of you, I too still don’t know how to express myself on this matter. It’s not like this was unexpected after Minzy’s departure earlier this year, we just didn’t know when it was going to happen and how would the fandom deal with it.

If you didn’t read my post regarding Minzy’s departure, here’s the key element to understanding my opinion on this issue – I don’t stan 2ne1. However, that doesn’t mean I turn a blind eye when recognizing 2ne1’s success and talent. Yeah, their music wasn’t my thing, but I acknowledge how talented the four of them are, how hard they worked to get where they are today. Only few succeed in acheiving what they acheived.

This is extremly frustrating, any K-Pop insider knows what lead to this miserable ending – YG Entertainment’s terrible management of their artists. YG has been producing some of the most renowned artists in the K-Pop industry, including PSY, who will remain as a legend for all eternity thanks to his song Gangnam Style – the most popular music video ever – and literally brought the korean pop music industry to a whole new level. Saying they train their artists to be the best is one thing, but saying they’re a good company in terms of support is another.

At this point, we’ve all realized that the “YG Family” is kind of lacking the Family concept as all they really do is boss their artists around and shove them inside the basement when they don’t need them. No wonder they’re all so disciplined, who would want to act freely when you live your life in such environment?

Another thing that is slightly bothering me, and not many people have mentioned, is that it’s becoming quite evident that when labels start to sleep on their own artists and give this one person a special focus, things will quickly take a turn to the ugly side. I mean, haven’t we gone through this before? It wasn’t even that long ago… 4Minute? Is it that weird to compare HyunA to CL? Not in terms of style, personality or popularity. But the situation is pretty similar. An extremly talented group, successful aswell, containing that one member that for a set of reasons appeals to the fans more than the others and quickly begins to stand out, overshadowing the rest of the group; eventually the atmosphere among the members becomes heavy and before we can tell, nobody is renewing contracts and each has chose their path.

I’m not trying to blame this on CL or HyunA or whichever group this situation may be comparable to, they have total right to work on their solo projects and I don’t oppose to that in any way. The thing is, on these situations, labels should try and create some balance between things because that’s why they exist, that’s why artists need managers. However, all of it is pointless if things are going to turn out like this because a company can’t even do their job.

So, a couple of days have passed since TWICE’s comeback. First of all, I didn’t get to post earlier because of test season (Im actually taking time off my math studying session to write this) but there was no way I could let TT slide! Check out TWICE’s comeback if you haven’t yet!

Starting with the music video, I am truly satisfied with the final result. Wouldn’t call it a masterpiece but it’s a simple song so no need to go overboard with the music video, yet it had a bunch of little details and the girls look absolutely stunning.

The track, again, is a great sample of TWICE’s essence – sweet like candy cotton and before you notice it is stuck in your head! There is still some work to do regarding the lines distribution but I still think all the girls were able to show their true charms.

As for the other tracks in the mini album, my special recommendations are Jelly Jelly, Next Page and One In a Million 🙂

I hope you enjoy TWICE’s new music as much as me, let’s give these girls lot of love 💜💜💜 Heard they’re in for an all-kill…

TAEYEON – WHY || INSPIRED LOOKBOOK

yesyeysyegdh

Hey hey, I’m back!

Just posted my very very very loooooong awaited Taeyeon WHY Inspired Lookbook!

I know you guys are probably getting bored of seeing me promote my YouTube channel here and for that, I’m sorry!

This video has a very special meaning to me though.

This is one of the things you only understand when you run your own YouTube channel… But to me, seeing this video online is like witnessing my child speak their first word LMAO. It took me the whole summer to put this video together. It started with planning the video’s structure in order to know where and what to film. I literally scanned my whole wardrobe to find the best fitting clothes and my friend’s wardrobe too hahaha. I watched Taeyeon’s music video countless times, I downloaded it to my phone and randomly watched it several times in a row, before and during filming, to get the vibe of the music video as accurately as possible to be able to transmit the same idea but with my own touch.

After filming I had to start this intense search for a better video editing program (because no way in hell Movie Maker would to the trick) and do I came across Wondershare Filmora <3333

When school started I was very worried because I started to have less and less time to edit and I wondered if I was ever going to be able to post this video, in which I had already put so much effort into.

Eventually, I finally saved myself two afternoons and TA-DA!

Please, show this video lots of love and maybe drop a like? Nevermind, if you can just watch it you’re already making my day.

I hope everyone that watches this video enjoys it, from the outfits to the editing and that this inspires your own personal style too! Thank you~~♡♡♡

REACTING TO BTS’ COMEBACK

Yall thought I would forget? HAHA AS IF

Hey, I’m back again! Though I haven’t been able to cover the latest events and birthdays in the last weeks, I worked my ass off the be able to film, edit and have this video up in time! Of course, I would never skip on watching BTS’ comeback no matter how busy I was, but filming a reaction video is a whole other level.

How about showing some love and watch my video? ^^ Maybe drop a like…? How about subscribing? I bet you haven’t subscribed yet…

Kidding, I know you did.

You better.

Kidding.

Am I?

Anyway, my BLACKPINK reaction video did quite well, that’s one of the reasons why I thought about doing this too! IT HIT 1K VIEWS!!!!!

Alright, let me know your feedback on this video. Please don’t be too shocked, after all, this is the first time I’m showing the surface of the fangirl inside me on YouTube. Hopefully you’ll find it relatable? Hahahah

Thank you in advance, if you watch it!

WHEN YOUR IDOL STARTS DATING #2 – YEEUN AND JINWOON

It happened again.

ff0bf2af-2037-48a1-8a4f-8a3f8b2f2ce4

BEFORE I GET INTO THIS PLEASE NOTE THAT i’m not particularly excited about talking about this stuff on the blog, simply for the fact that I believe these issues should matter only to the people involved. I still feel really bad when I see idols apologizing for being in a relationship. They are humans, what should we expected them to do? It’s only normal that they meet people and fall in love.

So, a couple days ago we were told that it was very likely 2AM’s Jeong Jinwoon (my bias by the way) had been in a relationship with Wonder Girls’ leader Yeeun for almost three years. Well, now it has been confirmed by both agencies managing them, JYP and Mystic.

Of course I was lowkey shook at first. Not the least sad or upset, really, just SHOOK.

Honestly speaking heLL YAS THEY ARE OTP MATERIAL OMF SUCH AMAZING ARTISTS YALL WHAT KIND OF POWER COUPLE IS THIS PLUS YEEUN IS SO SWEET AND LOVELY AND JINWOON IS SO WILD LMAO YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS

If I see one person bashing them I shall hunt down that one person, no kidding.

Yeeun has already spoken about her relationship with the G minor guy (Dream High 2 reference lmao) and, as expected, she apologized to fans and blah blah. Like I said before, it lowkey makes my heart weak to see idols apologizing for loving someone…
