BUT NOW HERE WE ARE OMGNG

Alright, on to the review!

This song¬†Limitless is the title track for NCT 127’s – NCT sub-unit – most recent comeback. It is part of the album NCT #127 – LIMITLESS – The 2nd Mini Album.

Starting with the MV, which you kinda can watch here ūüėÄ

Nobody really knew what to expect, considering the messed up teasers, but the truth is, the MV was just as confusing. Apart from that, aesthetic 1000000% on point. Perfect balance between dancing scenes and actual mv scenes. The only thing I have to point out is the terrible distribuition of screen time. I mean,¬†try comparing Yuta’s screen time to Mark’s and you’ll understand what I’m talking about

As for the song itself, HELL YES

Overall it’s such an amazing track I don’t even know where to turn. I’m not going to lie, I got a bit worried after Taeyong’s #2 teaser… I had no clue about the song and suddenly we’re introduced to that, somewhat particular, line in Taeyong’s rap with a, somewhat particular, vocal hum,… skill?

I love how in the song there are so many different moments… I mean, the song isn’t repetitive at all. It resembles the music video in a way that, there are no repetitive scenes. The overall theme is there and the song is consistent and well built, but it never gets boring and repetitive. Like I said, there are many different moments to it, making you feel differently about each one of them.

What makes me sad is that, with such a well-built track, whoever distributed the lines made a terrible job. Yeah, I know there are different roles to K-Pop members in a group, and normally who gets most lines takes less visible spots in choreographies but in this case it’s just too much.

Let’s look at Winwin. Yeah, he’s the main dancer and is often in the middle front, but throughout the whole song boy gets two lines which he doesn’t even get to sing on live peformances because of the audio effect. There is also Yuta, who gets¬†one line, I repeat,¬†one line. Sure, he gets to be in the middle aswell, but unlike Winwin who gets his fair share of screen time in the MV, Yuta barely even has that. Not even to mention JOHNNY. I mean, after all the hype I expected SM to be a bit more self-conscious and finally let the boy shine, but no, he got two lines. But hey, I’m already thankful for his debut.

There might be another way to interpretate this though, SM was defenitely aware of how much attention Johnny would get on this album and in order to balance that with the other 8 members, they tried to shift some of the spotlight back to other members.

However, Mark and Taeyong still got a heck of a lot of screen time/lines/middle or front spots in the choreo so yeah, there is still some work to be made.

In conclusion, I was absoluetely blown away with this track Рas you might have noticed on the video РI noticed some major evolution since Fire Truck era and Doyoung has also improved a lot since The 7th Sense.

Once again I think I predicted a K-Pop event. Now I might just make a post begging for Hansol’s debut and it might just happen I mean WHO KNOWS

REVIEW | NCT 127 “LIMITLESS” COMEBACK – LITERALLY [UPDATED]

WHAT EVEN IS GOING ON

Talk about a hot freaking fraken crusty god damn ugly mess? That’s Yang Hyun Suk and his incredible skill to manage artists!

nam-taehyun

Yall I was hella professional on my 2NE1 post¬†but on this one i don’t even care imma get all emotional and shit cos this god damn company managed to fuck up one of the most innocent pure and unprotected groups in the K-Pop industry – WINNER

I’m not even going to start with the blah blah blah it has been announced that Nam Taehyun has lefTYDSGFD I CANT EVEN SAY IT

So, for who doesn’t know, Taehyun had been taking some time off WINNER’s activities in order to take care of his mental health, with which, I ENHANCE, he has been struggling with SINCE TRAINEE DAYS

Once again, WE, FANS, were disappointed – not at Taehyun, at YG – because it meant that ONCE AGAIN WINNER’s activities were getting postponed. Adding up to worrying about Taehyun’s state, this was when we began entering hell without even knowing.

Recently I had frequently thought about Taehyun and wondered how his recovery was developing. He often updated fans on Instagram and he seemed to be enjoying himself, all of us understood that as signs that he was getting better and that, maybe, his hiatus would be coming to an end soon. I’m upset because I, absolutely, did not foresee this. It’s always a bad sign when members decide to take an hiatus but I was so sure he was going to come back. I couldn’t believe myself when I found out he had left. I don’t care if this sounds cheesy but I nearly teared up.

How much does it take for one to make a decision like this while on hiatus? He was taking time off, yet he kept thinking about how he couldn’t endure it anymore? This breaks my heart. Yall, all he wanted was to sing, why was it so hard for YG to make that happen? WINNER didn’t god damn go through years of training and that hell of survival show to be treated like this. I’ve been trying not bring iKON into this all along because those boys are in NO WAY at fault here but the truth is bitch ass Yang Hyun Suk has favored iKON since the beginning. Even after WINNER won that stupid ass show the guy gathered them and locked them away in the dungeon only to channel all his attention to iKON’s debut AND ITS JUST NOT FREAKING FAIR

After all that has happened with YG Entertainment artists, I’m truly scared to see where this is going because I no longer know what to expect. From what we have seen, their information isn’t trustworthy and their artists suffer from terrible mismanagement.

I deeply wish Taehyun the best of luck for the future, I’m sad things turned out like this but I hope he chose what makes him happier and that, in the future, he goes back to do amazing music like he did with WINNER.

To the members of WINNER, I hope they manage to get through this terrible phase, that they stick together in order to support each other because that’s all they got right now in a company like YG.

imma leave you guys with all my feels frustrations emotions BLOOD SWEAT TEARS chest pains and last squeals of fangirling over taehyun aka member of winner in a nutshell which is taehyun’s last music video in winner. its okey to shed a tear

WHAT EVEN IS GOING ON

GOODBYE 2NE1

Eventually, it all comes to an end…

fxzlwl3

Like most of you, I too still don’t know how to express myself on this matter. It’s not like this was unexpected after Minzy’s departure earlier this year, we just didn’t know when it was going to happen and how would the fandom deal with it.

If you didn’t read my post regarding Minzy’s departure, here’s the key element to understanding my opinion on this issue – I don’t stan 2ne1. However, that doesn’t mean I turn a blind eye when recognizing 2ne1’s success and talent. Yeah, their music wasn’t my thing, but I acknowledge how talented the four of them are, how hard they worked to get where they are today. Only few succeed in acheiving what they acheived.

This is extremly frustrating, any K-Pop insider knows what lead to this miserable ending – YG Entertainment’s terrible management of their artists. YG has been producing some of the most renowned artists in the K-Pop industry, including PSY, who will remain as a legend for all eternity thanks to his song Gangnam Style – the most popular music video ever – and¬†literally brought the korean pop music industry to a whole new level. Saying they train their artists to be the best is one thing, but saying they’re a good company in terms of support is another.

At this point, we’ve all realized that the “YG Family” is kind of lacking the¬†Family concept as all they really do is boss their artists around and shove them inside the basement when they don’t need them. No wonder they’re all so disciplined, who would want to act freely when you live your life in such environment?

Another thing that is slightly bothering me, and not many people have mentioned, is that it’s becoming quite evident that when labels start to sleep on their own artists and give this one person a special focus, things will quickly take a turn to the ugly side. I mean, haven’t we gone through this before? It wasn’t even that long ago… 4Minute? Is it that weird to compare HyunA to CL? Not in terms of style, personality or popularity. But the situation is pretty similar. An extremly talented group, successful aswell, containing that one member that for a set of reasons appeals to the fans more than the others and quickly¬†begins to stand out, overshadowing the rest of the group; eventually the atmosphere among the members becomes heavy and before we can tell, nobody is renewing contracts and each has chose their path.

I’m not trying to blame this on CL or HyunA or whichever group this situation may be comparable to, they have total right to work on their solo projects and I don’t oppose to that in any way. The thing is, on these situations, labels should try and create some balance between things because that’s why they exist, that’s why artists need managers. However, all of it is pointless if things are going to turn out like this because a company can’t even do their job.

GOODBYE 2NE1

ONE DIRECTION HIATUS???

Heyyya

This is still quite a confusing subject to me since I haven’t been online often and I’ve known about this for less than 24 hours, but apparently One Direction is set to take a¬†break¬†next March, though starting with the fact that there won’t be a tour for their next album coming out at the end of this year.

From my point of view, saying they’re taking a¬†break is an euphemism for saying they’re¬†splitting. If the reason for that¬†break is because each member wants to persue a solo career I don’t believe they will be getting back¬†any¬†soon. That kind of thing only happens in the Kpop industry. I was obviously surprised when I found out about this but I wasn’t shocked or terrified, in fact, I think most of us was expecting something like this to happen sooner or later. Things slowly starting to go downhill since Zayn left, and as much as we try to keep acting positive, no one can ignore that fact. Anyway, ya’ll probably tired of having me saying this but it’s the truth: what they’re doing doesn’t really matter to me, as long as they’re happy.

I also went on Twitter and tried to gather some opinions on this issue but I barely saw anyone talking about this, which was really weird. I know there hasn’t been an official statement about this yet but normally there’s a huge global discuss about even slightlest rumor whenever it involves the boys.

I’m still kind of unaware of what is actually going on so I’m still not capable of writting down a decent post about my opinion.¬†Perhaps any of you know more than I do, what’s your opinion on this subject from your point of view?
