Today is Yoo Sungoh’s 26th birthday (27th in korean age). He is a member of the korean boy group 24KĀ (they are under ChoeunĀ Entertainment) in which he is a lead vocalist.
Sungoh is currently on hiatus due to a shoulder injury… It upsets me aswell as many other fans because we know how much Sungoh wants to be active again. However, we don’t wish his injury to worsenĀ considering it was a consequence of over-work š¦ We do wish him a fast recovery! Today is Shim Hongseob’s 18th birthday (19th in korean age). He is a member of the korean boy group 24KĀ (they are under ChoeunĀ Entertainment) in which he is a vocalist, lead dancer, rapper and maknae.
Hongseob debuted last year, along with member Changsun with 24K’s first release in 2016 – the track Still 24K. They weren’t part of the original line-up. After members Daeil and Sungoh went on hiatus, Changsun and Hongseob were added to keep a 7-member line-up. Later that year, 24K releasedĀ FINALLY their 1st full-length albumĀ The Real One featuring the title trackĀ BINGO.

Today is Kim Byung Joo’s 23rd birthday (24th in korean age). He is a member of the korean boy group Topp DoggĀ (they are under HUNUSĀ Entertainment) in which he is a vocalist andĀ dancer.
Fun fact: during pre-debut days, B-Joo was a backup dancer for EvoL!
Sadly, there is still a whole bunch of people sleeping on Topp Dogg. I can’t believe people let their last comeback flop like that, it was so goodĀ (ā_ā ) Hopefully, more people will acknowledge them next time… Or at least acknowledge B-Joo and his vocals!!
Surprise Surprise, thought you’d seen the last of 2NE1 didn’t you?
2NE1 are coming back for their definite last release GOOD BYE. The song is finished and the MV has been filmed already.
However, this is not as pretty as it seems. Apparently, this track GOOD BYE was originally supposed to be CL’s new US release. Though this is just rumor, there is already loads of people commenting it.
Personally, I hope this is only a rumor indeed. I think it’s great that they are getting together one last time to gift this to their fans, but if that’s the story behind the song, doesn’t it brush off the whole special meaning of this?
Regardless, I’m excited about this upcoming release. Can’t wait to see what 2NE1 have prepared as a final gift for their fans!
This songĀ Limitless is the title track for NCT 127’s – NCT sub-unit – most recent comeback. It is part of the album NCT #127 – LIMITLESS – The 2nd Mini Album.

Nobody really knew what to expect, considering the messed up teasers, but the truth is, the MV was just as confusing. Apart from that, aesthetic 1000000% on point. Perfect balance between dancing scenes and actual mv scenes. The only thing I have to point out is the terrible distribuition of screen time. I mean,Ā try comparing Yuta’s screen time to Mark’s and you’ll understand what I’m talking about
As for the song itself, HELL YES
Overall it’s such an amazing track I don’t even know where to turn. I’m not going to lie, I got a bit worried after Taeyong’s #2 teaser… I had no clue about the song and suddenly we’re introduced to that, somewhat particular, line in Taeyong’s rap with a, somewhat particular, vocal hum,… skill?
I love how in the song there are so many different moments… I mean, the song isn’t repetitive at all. It resembles the music video in a way that, there are no repetitive scenes. The overall theme is there and the song is consistent and well built, but it never gets boring and repetitive. Like I said, there are many different moments to it, making you feel differently about each one of them.
What makes me sad is that, with such a well-built track, whoever distributed the lines made a terrible job. Yeah, I know there are different roles to K-Pop members in a group, and normally who gets most lines takes less visible spots in choreographies but in this case it’s just too much.
Let’s look at Winwin. Yeah, he’s the main dancer and is often in the middle front, but throughout the whole song boy gets two lines which he doesn’t even get to sing on live peformances because of the audio effect. There is also Yuta, who getsĀ one line, I repeat,Ā one line. Sure, he gets to be in the middle aswell, but unlike Winwin who gets his fair share of screen time in the MV, Yuta barely even has that. Not even to mention JOHNNY. I mean, after all the hype I expected SM to be a bit more self-conscious and finally let the boy shine, but no, he got two lines. But hey, I’m already thankful for his debut.
There might be another way to interpretate this though, SM was defenitely aware of how much attention Johnny would get on this album and in order to balance that with the other 8 members, they tried to shift some of the spotlight back to other members.
However, Mark and Taeyong still got a heck of a lot of screen time/lines/middle or front spots in the choreo so yeah, there is still some work to be made.
In conclusion, I was absoluetely blown away with this track – as you might have noticed on the video – I noticed some major evolution sinceĀ Fire Truck era and Doyoung has also improved a lot sinceĀ The 7th Sense.
Once again I think I predicted a K-Pop event. Now I might just make a post begging for Hansol’s debut and it might just happen I mean WHO KNOWS
No joke guys, I actually predicted their disbandment. Not because I disliked them or wanted them to disband, but myB weren’t able to grab a big audience to begin with and their following comeback went down the same way.
It’s not like groups go around disbanding every day, but I worry a lot about this due to the amount of groups we have out there these days. It’s simply impossible for everyone to achieve no.1 so it’s not surprising that at some point disbandments will be as frequent as debuts. I stan a lot of underrated groups so I often prepare myself for the worst, if the successful ones disband won’t the same happen to the others?
That’s why, about two weeks ago, I was listening toĀ Ddo DdoĀ and suddenly realized it had already been a year or so since their comeback. Is it normal for rookies to take such a long break? Not really, these days, even if you’re debut was the ultimate bop and promotions got carried out for ten years, they’ll still make one or two close comebacks, that’s the only way the audience will remember them. That’s why I wondered about their disbandment. It turned out to be plain ass foreshadowing.
Moonhee and Hayoon remain in Maroo Entertainment and will debut with the companie’s upcoming girl group in January 2017. Is it just me who thinks it’s a bit too soon? For some reason, I can’t see it go well for these girls either… š¦

I have been following KARDĀ since the first teasers were released so, trust me, if it wasn’t for him wearing sunglasses during their performance at the debut party I’d still be clueless right now.
Turns out, member BM aka Matthew Kim aka representative of the letter K in KARD was THAT guy, Goo Hara’s partner duringĀ Choco Chip Cookies promotions, the punk that never took off his sunglasses.

Today is Kim So Jung’s (aka Sowon) 21st birthday (22nd in korean age). SowonĀ is a member of the korean girl group GFriendĀ (they are under Source Music) in which sheās the leader, main rapper, vocalist and visual.
GFriend debuted on January 14th, 2015 with the singleĀ Glass Bead, you can watch it here. Ā If you’re into the K-Pop thing then you defenitely know how GFriend have killing the charts for quiet a while.Ā Glass Bead didn’t receive much attention, which is common since it was debut single and they’re from a minor label. However, the summer of 2015 was deadass dominated byĀ Me Gustas Tu,Ā but their real bop wasn’t dropped untilĀ Rough which collected about 15 wins on music shows. GFriend are now the korean girl group with the biggest amount of wins on music shows in a year, with a total of 29.
But enough of GFriend! This is dedicated to our leader Sowon š
Sowon is the loving mother in GFriend. Seriously, she cares so much about her members, she’s so cautious and works so hard to keep the girls happy. Every girl group deserves a leader like her. She’s more the quiet kind of girl but can still can make others laugh. She’s very skilled, she has a beautiful voice, dances amazingly well and speaks korean and japanese. Sowon is also very popular because people consider her body to have the “golden ration”.
Fun fact, her stage name Sowon (ģģ) means “wish” in english :3
