August 29th, it’s One Direction’s Liam Payne’s birthday!!!!
Woah… time REALLY does fly, doesn’t it? I started stanning One Direction when he was only 18, who would guess I’d still be crazy over him four years later?
Even though I usually write a mini profile on these “happy birthday” kind of posts, I don’t think it makes sense to do that with Liam. All that I really want to say is that I’m truly thankful for his existance. Liam Payne is such an amazingly talented, generous, kind and unique human being that it totally beats me how some people can’t see it. I don’t expect him to be perfect, I expect him to be human and it’s okay if that means he’ll commit some mistakes, because we all do. But he is by far one of the best human beings out there, so he deserves the best, not only today, always.
However, today is special and has a special meaning to him, so I truly hope Liam enjoys it near the ones he loves and needs the most around him ♡♡♡♡ Happy birthday xxx
August 28th, it’s 2AM’s Jo Kwon‘s birthday~
Today is Jo Kwon’s 26th birthday (27th in korean age). Jo Kwon is a member of the korean boy group 2AM (they are under JYP Entertainment) in which he is the leader, lead vocalist and face of the group. He is the longest serving trainee at JYP being the training time seven years and twelve days.
In 2009 he was paired with Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga In to join the cast of MBC’s We Got Married, their marriage lasted 15 months! They gained so much popularity that the fans nicknamed them as Adam Couple, in fact, they released a single together entitled We Fell In Love which topped variety charts online and won two awards on KBS’s Music Bank. 50 million won from the profits of the song were donated to Haiti after 2010’s earthquake. For this, Jo Kwon was awarded at the 3rd Korea Sharing Awards Ceremony.
He solo debuted in 2010 with a single entitled The Day I Confessed, which he composed during We Got Married broadcast for Ga In; he released his solo album 2012.
Jo Kwon was part of the one-time sub-unit Dramatic BLUE along with TEEN TOP’s Niel, B2ST’s Yoseob, MBLAQ’s G.O and Infinite’s Woohyun.
Jo Kwon is with no doubt my bias in 2AM, he’s such a beautiful human being ajhfrgfdefjh I hope he has a wonderful day near the ones he loves ♡♡♡
This is still quite a confusing subject to me since I haven’t been online often and I’ve known about this for less than 24 hours, but apparently One Direction is set to take a break next March, though starting with the fact that there won’t be a tour for their next album coming out at the end of this year.
From my point of view, saying they’re taking a break is an euphemism for saying they’re splitting. If the reason for that break is because each member wants to persue a solo career I don’t believe they will be getting back any soon. That kind of thing only happens in the Kpop industry. I was obviously surprised when I found out about this but I wasn’t shocked or terrified, in fact, I think most of us was expecting something like this to happen sooner or later. Things slowly starting to go downhill since Zayn left, and as much as we try to keep acting positive, no one can ignore that fact. Anyway, ya’ll probably tired of having me saying this but it’s the truth: what they’re doing doesn’t really matter to me, as long as they’re happy.
I also went on Twitter and tried to gather some opinions on this issue but I barely saw anyone talking about this, which was really weird. I know there hasn’t been an official statement about this yet but normally there’s a huge global discuss about even slightlest rumor whenever it involves the boys.
I’m still kind of unaware of what is actually going on so I’m still not capable of writting down a decent post about my opinion. Perhaps any of you know more than I do, what’s your opinion on this subject from your point of view?
This is a super super fast post being written at 1:30 am before I go to bed. All I want to say is that I’m currently on vacation in my grandma’s hometown which thankfully has wifi but I will be travelling to my friend’s hometown aka small village in the middle of the mountains isolated from civilisation and wifi, that’s why I haven’t been very active the past few days and probably won’t be until the beginning of September, sorryyyyyy
I’ll try everything to post whenever I can but I can’t promise anything. However, I already scheduled all the birthday posts until I come back from asilum in the countryside so you’ll be reminded of all birthdays!!!
Please forgive me!! Hope ya’ll enjoying summer and if it isn’t summer where you live I hope you’re enjoying whichever season it is where you are right now!~~

She only officially started her activities with the rest of EXID four months after their debut, along with Solji, after the three members Dami, Yuji and Haeryung left the group (current BESTie members) though she was supposed to debut with the original line up. She participated in Superstar K3.

August 22nd, it’s HotShot’s Yoon Sanghyuk’s birthday :3
Today is Yoon San’s 21st birthday (22nd in korean age). Yoon San is a member of the korean boy group HotShot (they are under K.O Sound); Yoon San is the main rapper. His favorite hobbies consist of Rubik’s cube, games and rapping. His motto is Follow my heart (geez how charming is that). He lived in France for eight years and can speak chinese, french and japanese; he also majored in design!
Now, I bet ya’ll dying to know this: oppa’s ideal type e.e Yoon San describes his ideal girl as sexy and someone who can accept his personality and doesn’t nag a lot… aish quite high standards you have there friend..
I’m still not very familiar with HotShot but they sure are super talented and cute and I can’t wait to find out more about each member in the future! Saranghae oppa, we wish you an awesome day~~~~

This post isn’t sponsored or supposed to promote any identity. I decided to write this post on my own and the owners of the following websites aren’t in fact aware that I am sharing them with my readers.
I have a question… do you ever just sit casually watching a Kdrama and suddenly start wandering where actors get their clothes from? I feel like characters’ wardrobes on korean dramas are super versatile but still trendy so I often find myself wandering where I can find similar pieces. To me, it happened a lot while watching Who Are You: School 2015 – Go Eun Byul’s wardrobe to be specific and The Producers – Cindy’s wardrobe.
Since I kept thinking about it over and over again, recently I decided to google something like “kdrama fashion” and came across these two websites: kdramastyle.com and koreandramafashion.com
Basically, the purpose of these websites is to help people find the pieces actors use on Kdramas that they love the most. Normally, they do full reviews for each episode of a drama and do a research in order to find where these pieces are from. They will give you a link to the store’s website and the price.
One thing I’ve noticed though, is that pretty much all of the pieces I fell in love with are super expensive. Thankfully, sometimes they are able to find really similar pieces to the actual ones on dramas that are way cheaper!
Be aware that these websites do not cover all Kdramas and they might not cover the one you’re looking for – I have yet fo find a website the covers Who Are You: School 2015, so if you any that does, I’d really aprecciate if you could share it with me!
I hope this was helpful to other people who for a long time wandared the same as me and didn’t know what to do! 🙂
SORRY THAT IN WRITING ALL OF THIS IN CAPS BUT THE THING IS IF I WROTE IT NORMALLY IT WOULDNT TRANSMIT HOW I FEEL RN TBFH BASICALLY BC RIGHT KNOW ITS 7AM AND FOR SOME REASON IM NOT TIRED SO I HAVENT SLEPT YET HOWEVER A FEW MOMENTS AGO I WAS GOING TO TRY CLOSING MY EYES WHN SUDDENLY ONE DIRECTION DECIDED TO DROP A MUSIC VIDEO AND RIGHT NOW IM INTERNALLY SCREAMING AND I DONT WHAT TO DO AND OMG THE SUN IS RISING OUTSIDE ALREADY BUT LIKE OMG THAT MV REALY IS SOMETHING DESPITE THE FCT THAT THEY’RE ASTRONAUTS THE MV IS SO SIMPLE YET SO GOOD OH GOD OK SO IM ACTUALLY GOING TO TRY TO SLEEP NOW BECAUSE IM STARTING TO TALK AND THINK NONSENSE AND TOMORROW ILL DO MY BEST IN TRYING TO WRITE A DECENT POST ABOUT MY REACTION TO THIS CYA
OH. MY. GOD
Alright, let me calm down before we get into this… HAVE YOU CHECKED OUT GIRLS’ GENERATION TWO NEW TRACKS? LION HEART HERE AND YOU THINK HERE
I won’t say these are perfect singles but it was a great idea to release one right after the other because they totally complement each other, what I mean is, what one is lacking the other is full of it.
Let’s start with Lion Heart. Personally, I think it’s a very good follow up to PARTY because it’s still summerish but a totally different style, kind of reminds me of the songs in the ’50s, it’s so groovy! The lyrics and the beat are a little cheesy to me, but I’ll still download it because the fact that this song is catchy and makes me want to dance is enough to me lol. Though it’s not my favorite song, the music video totally makes up for it. SM went all in with this video, it’s colorful and fun and tells a story (I usually love this kind of music videos) and the choreography seems nice.
Now speaking of You Think, like I said, what one is lacking the other is full of it, meaning that even though Lion Heart didn’t exceed my expectations (in terms of lyrics and melody), You Think got my total attention. The beat is really really good, with Hip Hop influences, this song is a lot more my style and I’m almost sure it’s going to slay the charts, not only in Asia. The music video is a lot more simpler compared to Lion Heart, but I think the song itself and even the amazing choreography make up for it.
I can’t wait to see Girls’ Generation perform these and I’m also pretty eager to check out the other tracks on their fifth album!
I can say I’m pretty satisfied with their comeback, hwaiting unnies!!~~
What’s your opinion on Lion Heart? Which track do you like best, Lion Heart or You Think? Let me know!!
